An informative event on investment opportunities in Azerbaijan has been held in the Turkish city of Izmir, co-organized by the Trade Representative Office of Azerbaijan in Türkiye and the Izmir Azerbaijan Association (IZAZDER).
The event, attended by IZAZDER members and Izmir-based businesspeople, featured speeches by Tamerlan Taghiyev, Trade Representative of Azerbaijan in Türkiye; Parviz Altay, IZAZDER Chairman of the Board of Directors; and Tamer Öztürk, Chairman of the İZAZDER Türkiye–Azerbaijan Development Committee. The speakers discussed investment opportunities in Azerbaijan and the further strengthening of business relations between the two countries. The event included presentations on Azerbaijan’s business and investment climate, a Q&A session, and an exchange of views.
During the visit to Izmir, the Azerbaijani delegation viewed the production facility of the "Heber Engineering" company. During a meeting with the company's management, they provided insight into the business environment in Azerbaijan and the investment incentives applied in this field, as well as discussing prospects for cooperation.
The Azerbaijani side also provided detailed information about the country's investment climate at a meeting of the Association of Consular Corps Members. Deputy Chairman of the Association Ahmet Fahri Yiğitbaşı and the Rector of Yaşar University Levent Kandiller, emphasized the importance of joining efforts to further strengthen economic and trade cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
