The Azerbaijan Tourism Board has organized a familiarization tour for ten leading tourism companies from Pakistan, which runs from August 16 to August 22.
During the visit, which was jointly organized with Pakistan Travel Mart, a variety of tourism products, including cultural heritage, nature, and historical tourism were promoted. The event also featured B2B meetings between representatives from the tourism industry.
The B2B meeting, joined by about 50 local companies, explored opportunities for mutual cooperation and tourist exchange.
Currently, regular direct flights are carried out from the Pakistani cities of Lahore and Islamabad to Azerbaijan.
This January - July, Azerbaijan welcomed over 46,000 Pakistani citizens, an increase of 16% compared to the same period in 2024.
