An event titled “European-Eurasia Cultural Night” was held at Oxford University, one of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious higher education institutions.

According to the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, an Azerbaijani stand was featured at the event as part of the “State Program for the Education of Young People at Prestigious Higher Education Institutions Abroad for 2022–2028.” The initiative was led by Shabnam Taghiyeva, a Public Policy master’s student at Oxford University, with the support of the Committee.

The Azerbaijani stand showcased the country’s ancient and rich cultural heritage, including national music, vibrant folklore, and traditional cuisine. Interactive question-and-answer sessions about Azerbaijan were organized, allowing participants to test their knowledge and learn more about the country.

The event served as a valuable platform for Azerbaijani students to introduce the nation’s cultural identity to an international audience and to promote Azerbaijan’s national heritage.
