Akif Marifli, Director of the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Cultural Center at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Uzbekistan, met with Otabek Jurayev, Director of the Uzbekistan State Drama Theater, in Tashkent.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for bilateral cultural cooperation and agreed on the implementation of joint theater projects. As of the current theater season, the Uzbek stage will regularly feature works by Azerbaijani playwrights.
The sides expressed their confidence that joint theater initiatives will contribute to strengthening humanitarian dialogue and advancing cultural relations between the two countries.
