A Kazakh delegation led by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov, arrived in Azerbaijan and met with Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov.
Minister Eyvazov noted that, in line with the strategy defined by the heads of state of both countries, cooperation and effective partnership between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have further deepened. He underlined that bilateral relations—particularly joint efforts in combating transnational organized crime, the exchange of advanced practices and operational information, as well as the development of a regulatory and legal framework—serve the interests of the peoples and states of the two countries and contribute to ensuring security in the region.
Major General Baltabekov expressed his gratitude for the sincere meeting and warm hospitality, stressing that the Kazakh Ministry of Internal Affairs is interested in further expanding cooperation and will spare no effort in this direction.
The sides also exchanged views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
As part of the visit, the Kazakh delegation familiarized themselves with the activities of the Internal Troops and police agencies of Azerbaijan.
