A delegation of Azerbaijan, comprising members of the National Anti-doping Agency (AMADA) Executive Director Tahmina Taghi-zada, and Deputy Executive Director Rufat Efendiyev visited Austria.
As part of the visit, the AMADA and the National Anti-doping Agency of Austria (NADA Austria) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation.
The MoU was inked by Tahmina Taghi-zada, AMADA Executive Director, and Michael Cepic, Managing Director of NADA Austria.
The document envisages cooperation in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and the international standards, which includes results management, anti-doping education and prevention, as well as conducting testing, research, and investigations. The document also covers exchange of expertise and best practices, as well as providing advisory support on complex cases.
The AMADA delegation also toured the Austrian Doping Control Laboratory in Seibersdorf, accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
