“Relations between our countries are developing across multiple sectors and have the potential to reach a higher level in the near future,” Israel’s Ambassador to the country, Ronen Krausz, told AZERTAC.

The diplomat emphasized that Azerbaijan–Israel cooperation spans cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, tourism, agriculture, and water technologies. “Cybersecurity remains a key priority, while artificial intelligence is a relatively new area of cooperation,” the ambassador stressed.

Krausz also pointed to positive trends in tourism, noting that approximately 70,000 Israeli tourists visited Azerbaijan in 2025, with numbers expected to rise.

The ambassador stressed the importance of efficient water management and strong potential for cooperation in this field.

Sharing his impressions from the visit to Garabagh and East Zangazur, the diplomat said the rapid reconstruction and development in the region is notable, adding that during his first visit to Lachin he was impressed by its natural beauty, new settlements, and job opportunities created in the industrial park.
