A delegation led by Muzaffar Mamayusupov, Rector of the Institute of Social and Political Sciences of Uzbekistan, visited the Azerbaijan University to meet with its Rector, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology Saadat Aliyeva.

During the meeting, the Uzbek delegation viewed the university's building, and familiarized themselves with material and technical base, auditorium, center and laboratories of the educational institution.

Rector Saadat Aliyeva provided the delegation with detailed information about the educational institution, highlighting its goals regarding education, research, infrastructure, international relations and cooperation.

Sharing insights into the activity of the Institute of Social and Political Sciences, Rector Muzzafar Mamayusupov, emphasized that the interaction between the higher education institutions will positively contribute to the Azerbaijani-Uzbek relations, which are evolving and enriching every day.

The parties then signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
