A roundtable was held in Vienna as part of the 11th meeting of the Austrian-Azerbaijan Joint Commission on Cooperation in the fields of economy, agriculture, industry, and technology.

Co-organized by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO), with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Austria, the roundtable brought together representatives from over 20 companies.

In his remarks, Samir Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, co-chair of the Commission from the Azerbaijani side, expressed confidence that such events would open new opportunities for enhancing bilateral economic relations and boosting mutual investment.

The roundtable featured sessions on key topics including "Investment opportunities in Azerbaijan," "Development of transport infrastructure in Azerbaijan," and "Mining."

Participants were informed about the incentives offered in the Alat Free Economic Zone, as well as in other industrial and technology parks across Azerbaijan. The Austrian companies were invited to explore potential investment opportunities in Azerbaijan.

The Austrian companies were also invited to participate in the inaugural Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, scheduled to take place in Baku on June 27–28.

The event concluded with business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) meetings.
