Kamran Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General, met with a Turkish delegation led by Deputy Minister of Justice Can Tuncay.
Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev noted that thanks to the far-sighted foreign policy of President Ilham Aliyev and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the relations of friendship and brotherhood between the two states have been strengthened, playing an important role in further advancing cooperation between the legal systems and lawyers of both countries.
Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev congratulated Can Tuncay on his appointment as Deputy Minister of Justice, expressing his confidence that they will continue to maintain productive cooperation established previously.
The sides exchanged views on various issues of mutual interest, including reforms in the legal and legislative system, and practical issues related to mutual legal assistance.
The meeting also revolved around discussions on extradition in specific criminal cases, with both parties acknowledging positive results across several areas.
