Twenty-three Belarusian citizens were evacuated from Iran on June 16, according to the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, Report informs via Interfax.
"Two groups of Belarusian citizens (23 people in total) safely left the Islamic Republic of Iran on June 16. Three Russian citizens left Iran along with the Belarusian citizens," reads the statement.
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry expressed gratitude to its Azerbaijani and Iranian partners for providing the opportunity for Belarusian citizens to leave.
