Diplomatic universities of Azerbaijan, Uruguay sign memo of cooperation

The diplomatic higher education institutions of Azerbaijan and Uruguay have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Latin American country.

"On May 20, a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the diplomatic academies of the Foreign Ministries of the two countries was signed, which will allow for educational exchanges," the press service of the department noted.

The foreign ministry emphasized that the document was signed on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Baku and Montevideo, as well as May 28 - Independence Day of Azerbaijan.

The signing ceremony was attended by Director General of the Secretariat of the Foreign Ministry of Uruguay Andres Pelaez and Non-Resident Ambassador of Azerbaijan to this country Ramzi Teymurov.

The Azerbaijani diplomatic mission noted that the document envisages cooperation between ADA University and the Artigas Foreign Service Institute: "<...> A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between ADA University and the Artigas Foreign Service Institute."
