Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov met with Emelia Arthur, Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture of Ghana, on the sidelines of the “Sea the Future: The 2nd Global Summit on Blue Food Security,” held in Israel.
During the meeting, the ministers underscored the strong potential for further expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ghana in various areas, including agriculture, as well as increasing trade turnover in agricultural products. They noted that strengthening bilateral relations serves the interests of both countries and provides a foundation for long-term and sustainable economic cooperation.
Minister Emelia Arthur emphasized Ghana’s interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of aquaculture, highlighting the broad prospects for implementing joint projects in this area.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on cooperation in agricultural education, opportunities for Ghanaian youth to study at Azerbaijan State Agricultural University, and other issues of mutual interest.
