American traveler: Demining is an important integral element of erasing a very negative part of Azerbaijan's history
“We are here today to witness the detonation of a landmine. The area behind me has seen thousands and thousands of landmines being planted during the conflict that's been going on over the last few years. To me, it is an important integral element of erasing a very negative part of Azerbaijan's history. To me, it's also a very important step in moving forward in making this place safe and habitable for people to come back here to live and to be happy,” American traveler, Basanth Sadasivan, currently visiting the liberated territories in Jabrayil, shared his reflections with journalists.
"To me, that is the most important thing. We are all here to work together, to move forward, and to help build a positive future. Our goal is to support the people of Azerbaijan and ensure that they can return to these lands safely and happily. We’re truly honored to be part of this effort and look forward to witnessing this crucial step toward progress."
