Australian lawyer Stephen Blyth, who actively promotes Azerbaijani realities, toured the city of Shusha. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize himself with the ancient monuments and buildings of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories and to witness the consequences of Armenian vandalism.

AZERTAC's regional correspondent reports that the Australian lawyer first visited the Jidir Duzu plain to enjoy the magnificent view. Stephen Blyth then toured the Museum-Mausoleum Complex of Molla Panah Vagif, the Yukhari Govhar Agha Mosque, and other landmarks in the city, including the bullet-riddled monuments of prominent Azerbaijani figures Khurshidbanu Natavan, Bulbul, and Uzeyir Hajibayli, the house of Khurshidbanu Natavan, the "Khan gizi" spring, the Palace of Karabakh Khans, and the Shusha Fortress Walls.

During the visit, the guest was briefed on the city's history, its condition during the occupation, and the ongoing reconstruction efforts. He was informed that historical buildings, mosques, and monuments in Shusha had been subjected to Armenian vandalism during the nearly 30-year-long occupation. Following Shusha’s liberation, large-scale reconstruction projects were launched.

As part of his visit to Karabakh, the Australian lawyer also visited the city of Aghdam and learned about the atrocities committed by Armenian armed forces there, as well as the reconstruction efforts carried out by the Azerbaijani state after the city's liberation.

Stephen Blyth actively participates in events related to Azerbaijan held in various Australian cities. A co-founder of the Australia-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, Blyth is also actively involved in countering the anti-Azerbaijani propaganda of the Armenian lobby in Australia. Members of the Australia-Azerbaijan Friendship Society organize events in multiple Australian cities to mark the anniversary of the Khojaly genocide and provide information about Azerbaijan at meetings with government and parliamentary representatives.
