Following the trilateral Memorandum of Understanding signed on November 14, 2023 between the New Azerbaijan Party, Türkiye's Justice and Development Party (AK Party) and the Northern Cyprus`s National Unity Party (UBP), the "One nation, three states youth camp” project has been launched to increase contacts among young people, promote joint activities and exchange of experiences.

An Azerbaijani delegation led by Bakhtiyar Islamov, Chairman of the YAP Youth Union, also joined the camp, organized for the first time in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

On May 18, the representatives of all three parties visited the Bellapais Abbey, Kyrenia Antique Port, Kyrenia Castle and Ottoman Baldöken Cemetery.

On May 19, the delegation toured the Karaoğlanoğlu Memorial and Muratağa-Sandallar mass graves to honor the memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the "Peace" movement in 1974.

On the same day, the youth party representatives also visited the Maraş region, which was declared a military zone by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus following the Cyprus Peace Operation, and participated in the solemn march held on the occasion of the “May 19 Atatürk commemoration, Youth and Sports Day.”
