Under a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and the National Press and Publication Administration of the People’s Republic of China, the mutual translation and publication of Azerbaijani and Chinese classical works has begun, aiming to enhance cultural and literary cooperation between the two countries.
The initial initiative was launched within the framework of the Beijing International Book Fair.
According to the agreement signed between East China Normal University Press and Azerbaijan’s "Tahsil" Publishing House, classical works initially selected by the Joint Expert Committee of China and Azerbaijan will be translated and published in both languages this year.
The official presentation of the books will take place at the Baku Expo Center from October 1 to 7.
