An event titled “Water as a path for societal adaptation: creating synergies across the GGA to drive action” was held on the sidelines of the 62nd Sessions of the Subsidiary Bodies of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (SB62) in Bonn, Germany.
The event was co-organized by the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation (AGWA), the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and other international institutions.
Aysel Rzayeva, Head of subdivision of the International Cooperation Division of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, highlighted the goals of the “Baku Dialogue on Water for Climate Action” initiative under the COP29 Presidency’s Action Agenda.
Discussions also focused on the Baku Adaptation Roadmap (BAR), launched at COP29.
