Online registration opens for Baku Climate Action Week 2025

Today marks the opening of Registration for Baku Climate Action Week 2025.

The event’s much-anticipated second edition will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 29 September to 3 October, following the success of the inaugural Baku Climate Action Week in 2024.

Commenting on its significance, COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev, said: “This is our chance to make an important contribution at this critical moment in history, advance the climate agenda in our own country, and leave a lasting legacy for everyone.”

As the world gears up for COP30 in Brazil, BCAW2025 signals to the world Azerbaijan’s continuing leadership and commitment to climate action.

COP29 High-Level Champion, Nigar Arpadarai, said: “BCAW2025 shows that we are staying the course and building on the legacy of COP29 to drive the green transition in our region.”

BCAW 2025 marks a key moment in the region’s climate calendar, bringing world leaders, experts, investors, entrepreneurs, youth and communities together with a focus on climate solutions.

The programme includes a three-day High-Level International Conference, as well as city-wide events on policy, energy, sustainable urbanisation, science, finance, youth enterprise, education, fashion, sports, culture and more.

The majority of Baku Climate Action Week events are open to the public, but may require registration or tickets.
