Azerbaijan was represented at the Beijing International Book Fair-one of Asia's largest literary platforms through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Culture and the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the People's Republic of China.

Organized by the China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Corporation (CNPIEC), the exhibition has brought together over 1,700 participants from 80 countries, including more than 200 international libraries and research institutions. Malaysia is the guest of honor at the fair.

At the official opening ceremony, Azerbaijan is participating with a broad delegation comprising publishing representatives and well-known authors. Within the framework of the fair, the country’s rich literary and cultural heritage is being presented to a global audience through its national stand and presentation zone.

The national stand, featuring 175 titles and 332 copies of books on Azerbaijan’s history, culture, and literature, will also host presentations, meetings, and discussions dedicated to Azerbaijani book art over the course of five days.

During the exhibition, various professional events are also planned to enhance cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and China, promote literary translation, and introduce local publications to international readers.

Held under the motto “Promoting the heritage and development of civilizations, fostering exchange and mutual learning for mutually beneficial cooperation,” the exhibition will showcase around 220,000 books and other publications across various sections of a vast 60,000-square-meter exhibition area.
