Kamaladdin Heydarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, met with Luca Di Gianfrancesco, Ambassador of Italy to Azerbaijan.

Welcoming the ambassador, Minister Heydarov emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and Italy are based on the principles of friendship and mutual respect, noting that bilateral ties are rapidly expanding across various sectors. He highlighted the progress achieved in emergency management and outlined potential areas for cooperation between the relevant agencies of both countries.

Ambassador Di Gianfrancesco expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and affirmed the steady development of Azerbaijani-Italian relations. He emphasized the mutually beneficial cooperation between the respective emergency authorities, particularly in the prevention of emergencies and the management of their consequences.

The meeting also featured a broad exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
