Representatives of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency and the Plant Protection and Inspection Services under the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security held an online meeting.
The sides positively assessed the issuance of a permit for the export of tomato products from Azerbaijan to Israel.
The meeting also included discussions on efforts to obtain the necessary permits for the export of other plant products from Azerbaijan to Israel.
The Azerbaijani side provided information on the measures taken to combat plant pests in the country.
The parties also exchanged views on the prospects for further expanding cooperation in the field of plant health.
The meeting concluded with a discussion of issues of mutual interest.
