On November 5, Baku State University (BSU) and Malaysia's Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the South Korean capital, Seoul.
Signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and APU Vice-Chancellor Ho Chin Kuan, the memorandum envisions expanding cooperation between the universities in the fields of research, education, innovation, digital transformation, and academic exchange.
According to the document, the parties plan to implement joint research projects, organize student and teacher exchanges, develop dual-degree programs, and hold joint international seminars and conferences.
The sides also expressed interest in implementing joint projects in priority areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, engineering, and information technology.
This cooperation will further expand Baku State University's international partnerships in the Southeast Asian region, opening up new opportunities for the development of innovation-oriented academic collaboration.
