A bilateral meeting was held between Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan, and Burhanettin Duran, Head of Communications of the Presidency of Türkiye, within the framework of "Stratcom Summit 26."

The meeting focused on expanding the existing strategic partnership in the field of media between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening joint efforts to combat disinformation. It was highlighted that rapid transformations in the global media landscape, along with the increasing impact of fake and manipulative content, necessitate closer coordination and systematic cooperation between state institutions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a "Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of the Joint Working Commission and Committees of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye Joint Media Platform" was signed between the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan and the Communications Department of the Presidency of Türkiye. The document envisages further deepening institutional cooperation, improving joint activity mechanisms, and strengthening coordination between the two parties.
