Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan celebrates Türkiye's National Sovereignty and Children's Day

The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan celebrated Türkiye's National Sovereignty and Children's Day with a special event held at the Nakhchivan State National Drama Theater named after Jalil Mammadguluzada, Report informs.

Organized by the Turkish Consulate General in Nakhchivan, the Ministry of Education, and the Gunash (Sun) Children's Academy, with support from the Ministry of Culture, the event began with a minute of silence honoring the martyrs of both nations, followed by the playing of their national anthems.

Key speeches were delivered by Turkish Consul General Asip Kaya, Minister of Education Elkhan Najafov, and Gunash Academy director Ulduz Aliyeva, emphasizing the significance of the occasion.

The celebration featured heartfelt performances by children, including poetry recitations, songs, and dances dedicated to the importance of April 23.
