“As noted in the Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 13 January of this year, the Republic of Azerbaijan supports the “One China” policy, and the country does not recognize the independence of Taiwan,” said Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aykhan Hajizada as he responded to the local media inquiry regarding the elections in Taiwan and the inauguration of the head of the Taiwanese administration.
