Representatives of Azerbaijan’s Food Safety Agency (AQTA) and the Food and Veterinary Service of the Republic of Latvia held an online meeting to discuss regulations and control measures during import-export operations of plant products.
They reviewed administrative measures applied in the event of non-compliances detected in business entities operating in the food sector.
The sides discussed coordination with relevant laboratories and border control authorities, as well as internal and international information exchange mechanisms.
The meeting also focused on other issues of mutual interest.
