Georgian delegation visits Supreme Court of Azerbaijan

A Georgian delegation headed by Nino Kadagidze, Chair of Georgia’s Supreme Court, visited the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan as part of an international conference marking the 20th anniversary of the Judicial-Legal Council’s activities.

Inam Karimov, Chairman of both the Supreme Court and the Judicial-Legal Council, welcomed the guests, emphasizing the strong Azerbaijan-Georgia relationship and the successful growth of bilateral cooperation across various sectors.

Karimov provided an overview of Azerbaijan’s judicial-legal reforms, highlighting the Supreme Court’s efforts to standardize judicial practices.

The meeting underscored that mutual visits and experience-sharing have strengthened judicial cooperation, opening new avenues for collaboration. It was noted that adopting innovative technologies in courts and enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of justice are key priorities in addressing global challenges.

Nino Kadagidze expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and invitation, praising the robust bilateral ties and their ongoing development. She highlighted the significance of the upcoming conference in Baku on June 18 for the legal community, noting that the visit would further deepen mutual cooperation.
