A graduation ceremony was held for the graduates of the “Military Paramedic Work” specialty at the Baku Military College of the National Defense University and the Military Medical Faculty of Azerbaijan Medical University, the Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
The event took place at the club of the Baku Military College and was attended by the university leadership, officers, faculty members, cadets, and other guests.
The ceremony began with the presentation of the Baku Military College’s Battle Flag on stage, followed by a minute of silence honoring the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was then performed.
Major General Gunduz Abdulov, Rector of the National Defense University, congratulated the graduates on behalf of the Ministry of Defense leadership. He emphasized that the establishment of military colleges, pursuant to the relevant decree by President Ilham Aliyev, exemplifies successful reforms in Azerbaijan’s military education system. He also expressed gratitude to the servicemen of fraternal Türkiye for their support in the educational process.
Speaking on behalf of the graduates, the top graduate expressed gratitude to the National Defense University leadership and teaching staff for the favorable conditions provided throughout their studies, and attached an emblem to the symbolic stump.
Diplomas, certificates, honorary awards, and valuable gifts were presented to the graduates and teachers who achieved high academic results.
The ceremony concluded with the handing over and receiving of the Battle Flag of the Baku Military College, followed by a group photo.
