Azerbaijani, Kazakh FMs explore prospects for cooperation

Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with his Kazakh counterpart, Yermek Kosherbayev.

During the call, the ministers discussed the strategic partnership agenda between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, as well as the current state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

The ministers emphasized the importance of successful cooperation and mutual support within international and regional organizations, highlighting the significance of advancing joint efforts on multilateral platforms.

They also exchanged views on the activities carried out within the framework of Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) and on upcoming initiatives.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov hailed Kazakhstan's strong representation at the Turkic World Week dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress held in Azerbaijan, emphasizing the event's importance in promoting the shared history, culture, and spiritual heritage of the Turkic world, as well as in further strengthening solidarity among Turkic states.

During the telephone conversation, the ministers also exchanged views on other regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Politics
