Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan expand migration cooperation

Vusal Huseynov, Chief of Azerbaijan’s State Migration Service, met today with Alim Bayel, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, to discuss strengthening bilateral ties.

During the meeting, Huseynov provided a comprehensive overview of the State Migration Service's primary activities, the core priorities of Azerbaijan's migration policy, and the strategic measures currently being implemented in the field.

Huseynov highly praised the growing migration cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. In particular, he emphasized the importance of the ongoing collaboration within the framework of the Almaty Process—an international migration platform—highlighting its success during both the previous Azerbaijani chairmanship and the current Kazakh chairmanship.

Ambassador Alim Bayel expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and underscored the deep significance of the partnership between the two nations. He affirmed that he would spare no effort to further develop and expand these existing relations.
