A meeting was held at the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) with Charles Kayonga, Rwanda’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Tural Hajili, Deputy Executive Director, briefed the ambassador on the agency’s main areas of activity.
Ambassador Charles Kayonga expressed his country’s interest in learning from Azerbaijan’s rich experience in organizing international events. He noted that exchanging information on events held abroad and using such platforms could serve to strengthen contacts between the business communities of the two countries.
The sides also exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation and investment in trade, mining, and tourism, and discussed the potential supply of exportable products.
Additionally, they emphasized that Azerbaijan’s position as a strategic hub connecting Asia and Europe could play a significant role in expanding Rwanda’s export opportunities and access to international markets.
